Digital Photo Guidelines

The photos should be taken from different angles and distances and include a view of your home, neighborhood, children, family members, other pets, etc. Our hope is to give others a vision of how the HenCondo might look in their neighborhood. Photos of the HenCondo from the street are particularly desirable as they prove our contention that the coop is discreet and visually inoffensive to the neighbors.

Narrative Guidelines

Creative writing is encouraged. Your narrative may provide many others with the encouragement they need to jump into a lifestyle relationship with chickens that brings pleasure and the bonus of fresh healthy eggs.  The narrative should include references to when you first considered having chickens, fears or concerns that you had to overcome, family reactions to your decision and to the presence of clucking hens, descriptions of specific family members reactions, including those of small children, comments from neighbors and/or discussions regarding the "legality" of owning chickens in your neighborhood.  We do not want all narratives to sound like they were written using a cookie cutter approach, but we do need enough interesting content to make them attractive to our audience.
