Moving the Coop Every Day Keeps it refreshingly clean! It is a simple answer, but it works.  Hens that eat grass make better eggs too. In the winter, park the coop on a compost heap. Roll it off in the spring.  The compost will be reading for planting or use as fertilizer for side dressing your garden.
