There
is no excitement for these chicks. They need a HenspaTM!
As you approach the coop to get the eggs,
the hens get excited and mill about on the end of the sunroom that will
soon give them fresh grass and the hope of catching some bugs.
The hens walk right along on the ground as you move the
coop. If you want to move the unit a longer distance, you can wait until
they go upstairs at night. Place a board over the hole so they can't go
downstairs. There is a setting on the lever that give 6" of ground
clearance and is recommended for long moves when the chickens are locked
upstairs.
